Discover Suk-Jai, a limited-edition perfume by SIAM1928 and Bar B Q Plaza, inspired by Thai shared-grill culture, cabbage and dipping sauce.

The fragrance then moves from simmered vegetables towards the dipping sauce through Soybean Accord.

Rather than interpreting soybean as salty or strongly fermented, we extracted its softer qualities—smooth, savoury and creamy—with only a delicate touch of sweetness. This evokes the texture of sauce coating a leaf after it has been dipped.

Carrot Seed and Coriander Seed add further dimension to this creaminess, introducing impressions of roots, soft earth and transparent spices.

These materials are not intended to smell literally like carrots or coriander. Instead, they give the vegetables and sauce greater detail and natural depth while inviting the wearer to recall other ingredients from their own experience.

At this stage, each person may perceive different vegetables or seasonings, even when they are not listed among the notes. Part of the
fragrance is constructed by the formula; the rest is completed by the wearer’s memory.

Finally, White Musk and Sandalwood gradually soften the composition’s culinary character. The clean tenderness of musk allows the fragrance to rest close to the skin, while the smooth, creamy warmth of sandalwood connects with the Soybean Accord and provides a lasting foundation.

The woods are not used to recreate smoke or charcoal, but to express the warmth that remains after the meal is over.

The result is not a literal fragrance of boiled vegetables or dipping sauce. It begins green, watery and gently spiced, before settling into
something soft, creamy and warm upon the skin.

Suk-Jai transforms the memory of cabbage dipped in sauce into a wearable fragrance—preserving the story of Bar B Q Plaza while
remaining refined enough for everyday life.
