Diptyque began in 1961 as a boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, opened by three artist friends who sold their own fabric designs alongside finds from their travels. L'Eau, the house's first fragrance, followed in 1968. That curious, well-travelled eye is what we look for in everything on our shelves.
