KARAWIK | In the enchanting Himmapan forest, the mystical birds known as
“Karawik” or “Karawek” dwell amidst the verdant foliage. These captivating creatures feast on succulent wild mangoes, which invigorate them and inspire their exquisite song. Their melodious voices, reminiscent of a crystal pipe, resonate throughout the forest, causing all the animals to pause in wonder at the ethereal music.

These enchanting birds are deeply rooted in Thai literature, Buddhist scripture, and Eastern mythology, where they are also referred to as “Paksawayuphak,” or “Bird breather.” Though they truly exist, their exceptional rarity has led people to believe that they reside in the sky, nourished by the air itself. Often invisible, their celestial voices can still be heard, echoing in the vast heavens. In reality, these elusive beings are known as the “Bird of Paradise.”

This mesmerizing perfume draws its inspiration from the mystical Karawik as described in the Buddhist scripture, “Tribhum Phra Ruang.” The fragrance paints an evocative scene of a flock of Karawik nestled in a wild mango tree, each bird’s plumage as vibrant as the fruits they consume. The perfume’s core note is derived from the enticing aroma of a wild mango tree, laden with
mangoes at varying stages of ripeness. Some may discern a more potent note of unripe mango skin, while others may detect the essence of ripe, juicy mango. To invigorate the top note, the scents of lavender and magnolia have been gracefully infused. Lastly, the aroma of coconut and other woody tones merge harmoniously to encapsulate the essence of the Southeastern tropical forest – the paradise of the enigmatic “Bird of Paradise.”
