Pierre Guillaume is a renowned perfumer and founder of Perfumerie Generale, a perfume house that has become synonymous with avant-garde, niche fragrances. Born in Clermont, France, Guillaume’s fascination with scents began during his childhood, where he collected essential oils and fragrant substances as a prelude to his future career as a perfumer.

At the age of 25, Guillaume composed his first fragrance, COZE 02, which marked the beginning of his illustrious career in the fragrance industry. He established his own company, Pierre Guillaume Diffusion, in 2010, equipped with a production tool including a composition studio, a raw material cellar, and a packaging line entirely dedicated to the manufacture of his perfumes.
