"This was a blind-buy. I had Byredo Blanche and gifted it to a friend. It was too starchy, too clean, too austere. This, though. It’s beautiful. Another reviewer said this was too soft and I can see why they’d think that. Blanche foregrounds aldehydes and starchy freshness until the florals disappear into abstraction; 724 buffers its aldehydes with citrus, humid white florals, and warm musks, so you actually smell flowers, skin, and movement without leaning feminine.
