Comme des Garcons

Comme des Garçons is a Japanese fashion house founded by Rei Kawakubo in Tokyo in 1969. The brand has since gained worldwide recognition for its avant-garde designs and unconventional approach to fashion. In 1994, Comme des Garçons entered the world of fragrance with the launch of its first perfume, simply named “Comme des Garçons”. Comme des Garçons perfumes are renowned for their unique and unconventional compositions. The brand has collaborated with some of the most innovative perfumers in the industry, including Mark Buxton, Antoine Maisondieu, and Christian Astuguevieille, to create fragrances that challenge traditional scent conventions. Each perfume is designed to evoke a specific emotion or idea, from the metallic and futuristic “Odeur 53” to the smoky and mysterious “Wonderwood”. Subtly sexy

"My husband is in love with this and is wearing it everyday. This wafts softly around you but is not too strong or too close to the skin. It blends well with other scents he has layered it with. The balance of sweet, heady, and spicy is wearable for both men and women but I prefer the more floral and waxy Play Black for myself. The CdG Black is similar but a bit sweeter with a sexier evening vibe and the two layer well together."
