"I have been playing with samples of CDG Black for a while now, pondering between it, CDG Avignon and Montale Full Incense. While the three are similar, Black's notes unfold better, changing throughout the day in a very interesting progression. It's a unisex fragrance, but only for women who don't equate feminine perfumes with flowery/sugary concoctions. Less "churchy" than Avignon and Full Incense as well. Still dark and beautiful though. I imagine that Notre Dame smelled like it after the fire was extinguished."
