Parfum D'Empire

Marc-Antoine Corticchiato has a unique profile as a perfumer and scientist. He is passionate about the noblest raw materials and their cultural history, which has driven him to explore the mysterious world of perfume. Born in Morocco and raised between Corsican citrus groves, he was a competition rider before studying chemistry and completing his training at the École Internationale de Parfumerie de Versailles. Marc-Antoine dissected natural raw materials and acquired in-depth knowledge of them while working in a research laboratory focused on the analysis of aromatic plants and extraction methods. He teaches at ISIPCA and has set up a production unit for essential oils in Madagascar.

After several years of research, Marc-Antoine joined a Parisian perfume laboratory to express his creativity more fully before founding Parfum d'Empire. His blends, originally intended for aromatherapy, taught him to work under both therapeutic and olfactory constraints. With his passion for natural plant extracts, he has developed a personal style that leaves a unique imprint, combining an exuberant use of rich materials with the sense of balance that characterizes the Grand French manner. Parfum d'Empire invites people to conquer the realm of the senses through resonant, tempting, and penetrating scents.

Spiced fruits

"Oh how I love this. When I first got my sample of it it was not a love at first sniff for me. This winter I decided to try it again & I thought it was perfect, so I decided to get a full bottle. To me this is such a comforting scent, but not in the « wrapped in a cozy sweater » type scent. Think of this as a warm & spiced fruit punch. It’s comforting in the sense of warmth radiating into your hands from the hot mug, the steam from your drink as you’re blowing on it to take your first sip & you feel the steam hit your face. Your body instantly starts to warm up & relax from the first sip. Now, this does have a cumin & Tonkin musk note, some might pick it up instantly. To me they add depth to the fruits, think dried stewed fruits, if you will. I can see this blooming in the heat."
