About Baruti

Baruti is an independent perfume house from the Netherlands founded in 2015 by neuroscientist-turned-perfumer Spyros Drosopoulos. The name comes from the Greek word for “gunpowder,” reflecting the brand’s desire to create fragrances with edge, character, and unexpected impact.

Each scent is composed and compounded in-house, with a focus on unconventional structures that challenge traditional fragrance and gender categories. Baruti perfumes are designed to evolve distinctly on the skin, balancing technical precision with bold artistic expression.

First things first… To buy

"First things first… To buy at ZGO Perfumerie is an experience of another level. Yes, their selection, prices, etcetera, are fantastic. But… Their Service/Customer Service is so far, by far, the best I’ve ever experience on/in a fragrance store. Phone costumer care, websites, packaging, receipt envelope, how fast it arrived, follow ups, and more, are top of the line. Enough adulation. Let’s get into the fragrance territory now; the fragrance I just purchased. Baruti Nucleus EDP is a monster, in the best sense of the word. First, it smells amazing, for anyone who loves Oud. It starts with an almost pungent and smoky Oud. Then it transitions into a more smooth, yet strong Oud that leans into a leathery Oud when it dies down. On my skin it lasted past the 16 hours. Yes, as strong, or more that Perverso. Try it, if you dare, and enter into a realm that will immerse your humanity into the mysteries that only Oud can give. Do recommend the fragrance; and absolutely recommend ZGO Perfumery to be the portal into a/the fragrant dimension."
