Elevating it to new heights, it unfurls across every dimension –wider, deeper, longer, more intense -and gifted further with an extended longevity. With a limited number of bottles, this one-off exclusive fragrance is available in a generous 100ml size.

Interlude 53 is the first men’s Extrait of Amouage and it was originally conceived as an experiment to understand the potential of EXTREME CONCENTRATION combined with EXTENDED MATURATION & MACERATION.

Why is it called “53”?

53 is the dosage of the Extrait. It means that Interlude 53 contains 53% of fragrance oils, and therefore, more pure oils than alcohol. As a comparison, the original Interlude EDP contains 25% of fragrance oils.

Why 53% specifically?

Amouage wanted to push the concentration as high as possible and this is the maximum allowed by IFRA for this formula. This is the highest concentration ever created for an IFRA compliant Amouage product.
